SCULPT A POLYMER CLAY ELF

WITH VISITING ARTIST
TERRY THOMAS
Learn to sculpt a head, hands, feet & torso using Polymer Clay & complete an Elf approx. 15cm tall.
Limbs will be wrapped in woollen thread.
Clothing will be made & fitted.
Learn how to colour to your elf.

WHERE:  Lex's FARRER Studio, CANBERRA

WHEN: JULY the 7^th

TIME: 10am to 5pm

COST: $95

Bring your own flesh coloured Polymer Clay or purchase a quarter block for $6 from Lex.

Wings will be available for purchase on the day for $6 a pair, (Cash only).

You will need to bring:-

·         Small glass beads for eyes ( I will have some if needed).

·         Hairy knitting wool

·         Felt, Soft leather or fabric

·         Embellishments, feathers,wool etc for hair.

      Paint suitable for polymer clay. (Lex will have some)

·         Craft Glue (if you have it)

·         LUNCH

3D Kaleidoscope Cane Class with Hector Vera

In this Kaleidoscope Cane class you will be exposed to many caning techniques where the sum of all its yummy parts produces a thing of magnificent beauty.   This cane lends itself splendidly to many design/construction options… be it a pendant, beads, earrings, a laminate for serving spoons, covered boxes and so much more.

Like a kaleidoscope of mirrors… you can achieve so many fantastic patterns simply by the turn of the clay.  Did you know that the word “kaleidoscope” is derived from the Ancient Greek meaning “beautiful, beauty”.  And that’s exactly what you get from this fabulous technique.

This class is open to all levels… no previous experience required.

Tools: bring your Ruler, blade, tile, knitting needle , roller, pasta machine,  reg. size scissors, double fold mirror if you have one.

4  blocks of clay included.
